dogvixen01 34
is there anyone on here who reloads .222 at 40 grain. if so I would be interested in your opinion regarding how it compares to a 50 grain head for accuracy ,recoil and impact effect. if it is a lot better I would like to know the powder you use and the load .I have used 50 grain soft point previously and currently trying 55 grain. have thought about trying 40 g blitzking lately thanks. Soulboy1857 3
I'm using 40g nosler varmageddon, have been for the last six months, devastating on foxes out of a .222,shot 256 foxes in 2014,very few runners with these, they seem to dump all their energy with very few bullets exiting Quote Link to post

Rake aboot 4,935
Sako gamehead 50gr or 55gr. I use them on Roe and they hit hard as hell. I imagine they would do just fine fro you on Charlie I doubt you would feel much reduction in felt recoil, with my moderator on I don`t feel any recoil as it is. Quote Link to post
