Nightmaster 800 V Lightforce 140

Hi

 

I currently have a lightforce 140 gunlamp with a red filter which i use for foxes with my 17 hmr.i shoot alone most of the time but i find it hard work some times with carrying a battery and lamp for a few mile.has anyone used the nm 800 how would it compare to the lightforce .cheers

just bought a nm 800 .simple answer do it.i only looked as far as 400 and it was daylight.weather 100 or 4 the beam was on and light in weight very light.

what type of scope clamp are you using? I have looked at the clamp with the side screw but not sure if the beam will ajust to where your scope is pointing.

it seemed like witchcraft last night i used the clamp in the kit and it was on at 100 and 400 ????? cant explain it just was .worst case dont over tighten and just move it .i didnt struggle at all

A couple of years ago i did a side by side comparison between the lightforce 240 blitz and n/m800.

The lightforce was brand new with a new red filter, the n/m 800 was with ext tube and two 18650 batteries.

The n/m was considerably better both in distance and clarity. The xsearcher is better still. However for white light alone the blitz is still tops.
