pianoman 3,587
Hi Richnkelly. You have a .177 Air Arms S410. So you have a good rifle to hunt with, no problem. .177 Air Arms Diablo Field in either 4.51mm or 4.52mm headsizes, is a good place to start. The difference in headsize means the difference between hitting you rabbit's head with clean, humane killing accuracy through the brain, or a shot to the head that will not kill the animal outright. It will escape to die down a hole or in the undergrowth so you really need a .177 pellet that is perfect to your barrel. All the suggested types here are good in certain rifles. The main thing is, never be swayed by price or costs alone. You must want what is perfect in your rifle's barrel. Not what you want to pay and get away with on spending. My .177 Daystate Regal is absolutely one hole accurate at 45 metres with Air Arms Field 4.51mm. You have to find the same result for your rifle and ammo. ATB Simon 3 Quote Link to post

Rez 4,960
Good topic. Something soft for me mate. Fields. Exacts etc etc. Something that hits bloody hard and is weighty. Quote Link to post
mattwhite 1,993
My .177 s410 loves 4.52mm 8,44 grn jsb exact diablos. Pellet on pellet as far out as you can confidently shoot without wind factors but its trial and error finding one perfect for your barrel. Quote Link to post
