scotty3968 0
hello my six year old dog used to retrieve to hand every time and live on the odd occasion,,what im about to explain i think is a common problem, since ive had my pup now 12 month old my older dog will not retrieve its quarry if i have the pup with me incase he gets it taken off him,he will stand a few meters away ..i think what i will do is take him out on his own so he can do his thing and not feel pressurised by the young bull cross, what do you think? cheers scotty Quote Link to post
jultaylor1972 2
Thats a difficult one Scotty, if it was me...I would take my older dog out on its own to see what happened ? And I would take the pup out on its own to see what happened also. Does the pup get to take the catch off her? Im by no means professing to know what to do and I hope you get it sorted out soon. All the best. Quote Link to post
