longdog13 36
Out on a farm only 15 mins away today, we didn't have high hopes due to the gale force winds. We ended up with a bag of 11 today, 4 clean bolts, 7 digs. Weather was windy but not too bad, the Mk3m locator is worth its weight in gold. We had 8 from the derelict farm buildings and 3 from the ditch. Really happy with my new polecat Jill. First time out, never worn a collar, and entered 1st time, no messing and found/stopped a rabbit. Very happy, just 4 more new ones to try out. 8 Quote Link to post

random 659
Better to be out ferreting in strong wind (that seems to stop them bolting?) Than in home doing pretty much nothing,I'm becoming a bit of an armchair hunter! Better get out and catch something soon! 1 Quote Link to post

I think the wind stops em bolting especially if the holes are facing the wind 1 Quote Link to post
