Jarvis 277
One of my hobs (my favourite ferret that I've ever owned) is 8, he is blind the poor little chap. He has the same film on his eyes as you have mentioned. He started going blind about 8-9 months ago but copes fine, I just put my hand in front of his face before picking him up so he smells me and doesn't get startled. Quote Link to post
adam87 31
I Have a blind from birth jill ferret from one of last years litter. Worked her a few times over x-mas and was bolting rabbits left, right and centre. Great little ferret tbf and doesn't spook out when approached. Happy little ferret and I guess what she lacks in sight she gains in smell! Well chuffed 1 Quote Link to post

The one 8,463
Same here my oldest Jill had the cream colour in here left eye for years but now she has it in both , she can still do a bit though just very slow working threw the burrows , but i find now when she's in the nest box you have to speak to her and touch her sides before you try to pick her up or she will swing round and nip you Quote Link to post
