lifelong cumbrian 1,826
I have used the .9 knit single strand never had it burst on me, i have also used the 1.1, in both brown and green. The brown is nicer to knit with and has a nicer texture to it, seems daft that but Allan tells me it is the different dye that changes it. If i was buying again i would go for the 1.1 and knit single, just my personal opinion though, ATB. Quote Link to post

You are a very lucky person not to have it "burst" on you , I can only assume you are using it day time where you are straight on top of the rabbit ? Forgive me if I'm wrong. I used to knitt 41/4 full mesh double strand 20/9 some of the rips were unbelievable, I now knit 41/2 full mesh and have less rips but it still does happen. I have recently finished a 25yrd in "1.1" brown (41/2" full mesh) and shall give it a go as soon as. 1 Quote Link to post
lifelong cumbrian 1,826
You are right Mr Wilkes, been using day time mate. I see what you are saying, the 4 1/2 mesh will be better, get there heads through the mesh. 1 Quote Link to post
