Born Hunter 17,763
Why do we shoot them in the legs in this country and every where else shoots to kill?? Completely different situation mate. The Unit that dealt with this situation were the French GIGN, one of the worlds premier counter terrorism units and up there with the likes of SAS CRW teams and Seal team 6 etc. None of those level of units f**k about with arrests. I could name a number of examples from the UK? The Rigby killing was dealt with by a regular armed police officer. Not the same at all mate. Surely there instructed to kill or wound though whoever is pulling the trigger? My understanding is that police simply train to incapacitate, centre of mass shots and arrest, that's the same the world over. The worlds best counter terrorism units go in to kill, every time they will use as many bullets as it takes to kill and then a few more to make sure. It's not a fair comparison mate, that's all I'm saying. If you think an SAS CRW team would have done anything different you're very mistaken. desertbred 5,490
Blackmaggie, yes I agree with your sentiments about the lack of condemnation by Muslims but would it be heartfelt lip service is easy . I can only speak as I find Iam not my Brothers keeper and cant be held responsible for some of their actions example the two whomurdered Lee Rigby I would have killed them but what would the Law and the Courts have said and done.? The situation that led to the murder of the children in Peshawar in the school I could and would have killed the terorrists and nothing would have been done to me. Here especially everybodies hands are shackled by the law. Edited January 9, 2015 by desertbred

fourlurchers 279
what religion has the closest links with terrorism in the world today ???? mull over this while you ponder Somalia's Islamic extremist rebels, al-Shabab, have claimed responsibility for an attack on a bus in Kenya in which 28 non-Muslims were singled out and killed. Al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the dawn attack through its radio station in Somalia today saying it was in retaliation for raids by Kenyan security forces earlier this week on four mosques on the Kenyan coast. Nineteen men and nine women were killed in the bus attack, said Kenyan police chief David Kimaiyo. The bus travelling to the capital Nairobi with 60 passengers was hijacked about 50 kilometres (31 miles) from the town of Mandera near Kenya's border with Somalia, said two police officers. They said the bus was first waved down but it didn't stop so the gunmen sprayed it with bullets and when that didn't work they shot a rocket propelled grenade at it. The gunmen commandeered the bus off the road and ordered all the passengers out of the vehicle and separated those who appeared to be non-Muslims from the rest and shot them at close range, the officers said. Some of the dead were public servants who were heading to Nairobi for the Christmas holiday what religion has the closest links with terrorism in the world today ???? rodp 316
Rodp when have I tried to force anything on you ? You personally haven't, I was referring to the religion you seem to be standing up for. Or have I read it wrong? The religion you proudly declared you have faith in. And let's be clear here, I do not have a problem with anyone being proud of their religion, but it is THEIR religion, not mine., Most, if not all, of this is about one religion trying (stating in fact) to force their primitive ideology on a civilised world, trying to take us all back 6 or 7 centuries. If it comes down to the bottom line I doubt it is religion at the bottom of it, that's just a reason they think they can use to attract the most followers. It's probably more about primitive 3rd world tribal leaders wanting a relatively easy ride to power. They want power and money, unfortunately the folk who can earn them this money leave the country as soon as they can . Far easier to cause a war then take over. A bit like the crusades I suppose, but the civilised folk gave up on that a thousand years ago.
