Brigzy 1,298
Brigzy my point wasn't justifying them being killed but surely freedom of speech is one thing but offending people is another. For example start goose stepping and saluting in many parts of europe and you offend people you get sent to prison. People have been jailed for tweets yet because these were left wing they could go about offending people with the backing of the establishment only muslims don't tend to bend over and laugh at someone taking piss out of their holiest figure. Their actions were clearly over the top. We are at a crossroads due to the hipocrisy of liberalism and diversity because the 2 can't co-exist if even only 1 group of people don't want to fit in and become part of the mainstream. It's at a stage now where liberals who are hardcore pro immigration and no borders are reaping their agenda and in lots of cases support the muslims whilst they are being raped and killed. That's a reality for europe now wether it is right or wrong is an irrelevance. "Over the top" is somewhat of an understatement ! If someone is offended by cartoons to the point they go into a building and kill everybody and then execute a policeman , that is clearly way, way "over the top" ! I'm certainly no bleedin' heart liberal or left winger; more of a flog 'em and hang ' em right winger, and to be truthful, it makes me mad reading these tweets and listening to the so called experts on the BBC and the left wing media, saying these journalists some how "brought it on themselves" ! There are libel and slander laws, race and religion laws, public order laws, that can all be used if you feel offended. If that's not good enough, they could ALLWAYS deal with it the old fashioned way and have a toe to toe with the people they think has offended them, but no, they take the cowards way and shoot, behead, blow up anyone, if innocents get in the way, so what, they are only "infidels".

shepp 2,285
Does anybody have a link to an uncensored news agency? Can't find anything about the backlash on usual media.
Brigzy 1,298
Does anybody have a link to an uncensored news agency? Can't find anything about the backlash on usual media. Breitbart London is reporting an "non-accidental" explosion in a kebab shop in Lyon, run by the local mosque. Not sure if it was a bomb thrown in or a bomb they were making going off prematurely . tandors 888
Obviously it is a massive over reaction but we don't really have freedom of speech any way like i said people get jail over offending people on twitter yet other people can offend people and not expect any reaction? Thry are offending people for offendings sake to appear edgy.

Not really, satire is a strong part of French culture, it is a way of mocking the establishment and other groups who have power and influence. No incomer has a right to end this tradition. It is a fundamental right of freedom of speech and if it falls outside the law then they will be prosecuted.

If Charlie Hebdo happened to be run by Front National or any other right wing group of people...... instead of a group of liberal lefties and feminists do you think it would of been left to run unchallenged on a national scale ?..........straightforward question.
