Mrjamesblack89 2
Hi, Stated in my previous post "Getting started" im massively interested in running rabbits with sight hounds, and around my way of which i shoot....etc, running the dog on lamp would seem to be the best option. i understand all power ratings and sizes...etc, i dont want to go and get a cheap one and it break on my first outting, but at the same time dont really fancy going and spending alot of money when i dont need to. So whats peoples honest opinions,is the best lamp for the money, no matter how expensive orcheap? Thanks Quote Link to post
hare_n_hounds 157
I use the Stiker sl 170 although the k50 maybe as good if not better, look on the thread k50 and you will see how people rate them after they have tested it. Quote Link to post

BIGLURKS 874
Personally depends on how much lamping your doing and as you've said shooting as well are you looking for something that can be mounted too a gun or just too lamp with the dog if it's just the dog for running rabbits would be small fields just a couple of hours out with the dog http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BUFFALO-RIVER-4-2V-2-3Ah-RECHARGEABLE-HAND-HELD-SPOTLIGHT-CREE-LED-540-lumens-/361084103490?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Camping_LightsLanternsTorches&hash=item54124a2b42 If you plan on doing more lamping light force 140 with a lithium battery just too add I find the light force lamp a lot easier too spot with but you will pay more for it Quote Link to post

buster gonads 862
If its for bunny's get a second hand clubman, about £25, then get a decent battery and maybe a filter, no point in being able to see a mile away when your out rabbiting. Just seen this on ebay, every thing you need to get started but you may need a bigger battery if your out for long periods. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clulight-Clubman-CB2-Shooting-Hunting-Lamp-with-Extras-/141527226255?pt=UK_SportsLeisure_Camping_LightsLanternsTorches&hash=item20f3ae178f Edited January 7, 2015 by buster gonads 1 Quote Link to post

Sweeney 316
I've been thinking maybe I should buy a new oneas I've,had my Light force striker for about 8 years now. The beam is quite wide on it, how long you all keep your lamps before you get new one? Do you think they would have improved much over 8 yrs? Quote Link to post
