walshie 2,804
Right, I've tried taking photos, but they were terrible so I'll try to explain. My CZ452 has been getting bunged up a bit lately and not extracting every round cleanly, so time to clean the bolt and extractors. If you lay the bolt on the table so the rounded edge (top) is up, then look at the extractors, they aren't the same. One is very pointed and one is more hammer shape. Having a look at some pics on the net, it's not clear which one goes on which side and they are interchangeable. It LOOKS like the pointed one should go on the right and the hammer shaped one on the left. Mine are the opposite of this, but the gun is left handed, with a left hand extraction port. Should a l/h be the opposite of a r/h? I don't really get it. Any help much appreciated. Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
Have you ever thought of cleaning that? Cheers Mick. that's the complete mirror image of mine. I wonder if that's good or bad? Quote Link to post
samboy 315
Shows how to strip and clean bolt etc on u tube. My extractors are odd too but there supposed to be. Easy enough to do. Also clean breech as my empty cases were getting stuck in there. Quote Link to post

I've taken the bolt apart before, but just wanted to confirm my extractors should be back to front to a "normal" persons. Quote Link to post
drut 9
"Gizzy mod" solved my problems no bother! For some reason cannot include link but search on Rimfire Central CZ section for "extraction" will reveal all, basically means correcting extractor shape. Yes, the bolt/extractor throws/ejects the case in the opposite direction to right handed so the extractors are opposite! Edited January 8, 2015 by Deker 1 Quote Link to post

Indeed they are, but they are trade only, they don't sell retail, so it is very unlikely they will sell them to you, almost any RFD should be able to order them for you though!
