I'm guessing it was council because private wouldn't have a leg to stand on. My mum got one for parking in Argos / Boots / PC World / Matalan shared car park ran by Private Eye and walking across to Asda (literally over the road). When a shut the door it must of blown it off the dash as when I came back had a ticket on my windscreen and the ticket was in the footwell. Rang the council next day explained I had the ticket and could prove purchase as I payed by card, they told me to email a picture as evidence which I did, I also emailed after to ask if it was ok. I had no reply so thought it was, about 9 mths later I got a letter from a debt recovery agency trying to find me ( car was still registered to an ex's) and that I had to pay £450. Rang the council said wtf? Emailed them evidence that I'd emailed it all. Apparently something on there system had blocked them receiving my picture. They said they'd wave the charges on their behalf but the debt recovery agency might still charge me for there time. I told them in no uncertain terms that I'd be paying for anything and that if there was any charges then they were responsible. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
2.8 guy 403 Posted January 8, 2015 Report Share Posted January 8, 2015 Took my daughter to her swimming lesson 530 and thought after six the restrictions would be finished and stayed over the two hours and got fine £100 or 60 if paid in 14 days just paid it week before crimbo too ffs. Private eye was the company I was as mad as hell and felt like taking revenge by tying healium filled balloons bellow the cameras and that was one of my nicer thoughts lol. As said its my folt.I was putting of paying like a twat.woke up to the clamp.had to run round like a mad man at 6 in the morning.i could of cut it of.would not of been hard.carnt be arsed though.its a det i no longer I have I depose lol..
