moxy 617
Landed on to a spot that has an annual shut down from the public this week to just mop up a few stragglers we missed at the back end of summer. Perfect night for it. Wind mildly blowing but just enough to cover the squelch of the wet mud. Anyway. Started off promising. Fair few bunnys sat about munching. Not phased by the lamp allowing me to get into a comfortable range. Took the seven and then the battery died. Game over. Finito!! But clever balls here brought a spare so I attempted to put it in....... I don't normally use this torch on this set up but it was the first to hand. So in a rush to find a clamp and mount it as far forward as I could. Like a silly fecker I clamped over the threads. Meaning I couldn't remove the end cap no Allen key either!! Back tommorow in the rain..!! Still seven good sized rabbits so it could have been worse. Quote Link to post

It's a red torch david. I don't use a white light. The other ring is supposed to clamp around the scope body Quote Link to post
