salclalin 240
Has it as been mentioned,Chainsaw/Strimmer. Fumes are forced into the Warren Better. Not only that you get Vibration and Noise. The Rats certainly bolt better. 1 Quote Link to post
Matthew Phillips 36
We've also got a 2stroke but wanted something a little quieter than the racket the 2stroke makes. If it doesn't work.... it only cost a couple of quid. :-) Quote Link to post

Matthew Phillips 36
Does it really not push the smoke down the hole? Was hoping this would work well. Will be trying it after the shooting season is over as the feeders have plenty of rats around them. Quote Link to post

navman 126
Couldn't agree more, complete waste of money, even rang up to complain and was told I was the first to inform him they weren't effective, not had any other complaints, bizarre ! Dogs have given positive marks, pumped loads of smoke down holes, seen it escaping from other holes, looks impressive, no bolts time after time, give up trying it after that, load of junk! Nice idea, quiet but not up to the job required? Quote Link to post
krawnden 1,036
Is the Arthur Carter one the rat attack smoker mk2? Quote Link to post

Matthew Phillips 36
Well thank god someone else said its worth something! Did you put anything on the smoke end or just crimp the tube a little? I was thinking if i used some sort of tight nozzle it'l blast out further? Vegetable oil is what i'm using (it's what i found in the kitchen....) Quote Link to post
rodp 316
I used the tip off a mig welder on the end, mine works OK. Don't use it much though as not in to the dogs. I made it to get rid of rats under the patio, worked well (touch wood) Quote Link to post
