charlie caller 3,654 Posted January 7, 2015 Report Share Posted January 7, 2015 It bloody is funny how quick they appear, its happened to me a few times over the years, I was duck shooting on the Ouse washes a year or three back, a Widgeon comes screaming down the river, up goes the gun, bang, down he comes stone dead on the other bank of the river, I unload the gun, jump in the rowing boat and row like a man possessed to the other side, the fox has nicked it, and making his way across the field.
