It can be 'kicked in' on the move at slow speeds...... just press the button and it will show as a green light on your dashboard. Go out and try it on a steep slope. To disable it press the button again and it will dis-engage after you reach 15mph.

If I were you mate

I'd have a good read about them. Join up on landyzone there's loads of info on there. They do seem to be plagued with problems. Have a good read up on the 4 wheel drive system as even running different tire pressures can cause problems. Atb

Cheers for positive responses lol will give her a go see what happens, haven't had it off road, does 4wd just kick in when off road or how it work

constant 4wd, i think it has traction control so you dont need to worry about diff lock i think? selectable 4wd is no good as you can easily strain your axles due to no central diff.

They are constant 4 wheel drive. They are fitted with a viscous coupling unit which puts drive to the rear wheels when the fronts start to slip. But there is a percentage of the drive to the rear constantly. Can't remember how it's split though. The traction control does help alot when off roading and they are quite capable. Only let down really is ground clearance. Obviously not as good as something like a disco or defender but decent enough
