Giro 2,648
Aye bet they'd be good working moorland - fell ground hunting up rabbits.. They be pacy enough for the lamp ?? I had previously underestimated the salukis hunting ability - I have a saluki cross lurcher and it hunts like a hound. Better than my old collie cross infact.. 2 Quote Link to post

desertbred 5,490
Three of mine will hunt anything they are becoming a team and half on squirrels lol as there is feck all else around me LOL the squirrels will be gone soon the rate they go through them. They havent mastered the tree climbing at the minute but not for the want of trying. The other one is an out and out sight dog he just lets the witches catch anything else then takes it off them. You get the bond with a saluki and bring it on as a lurcher you will have a top class all round dog, just need to be even tempered with them and let them mature at their own pace. 4 Quote Link to post
