But then I got offered this one and I had a think about it and decided to go with it, why not! And no I definitley didn't want a bull x, not so much the size of them it was more that I just don't seem to get on with them! I love a lurcher to retrieve shot foxes.. aswell as catch rabbits so thought this would be ideal, also I've heard good things of this type of cross so I'll just have to wait and see how she turns out. I'm going to have to dig out a couple of old books now, I always like a book to refer to when training a pup as I'm still learning myself! Haha Quote Link to post

Just wondered due to there structure etc do not rush a big dog into work they mature later than a cxgh or any other for that matter mine had a rabbit at 8 months then that was it for 2 more months 1 run then started him at nearly 14 months he was stilly pupyish at 3 years 2 Quote Link to post

Thanksraw meat brown bread egg tin sardines tin tomatoe and bit off whit wine viniger in there water once a week kills any bacterial infection in them its common sense really just healthy stuff youde eat youreself lol Quote Link to post

Thanks i fed mine on meat and dry food just put hot water on the dry food let it soak and cool then mix some meat in never hurt mine but people feed different sure some others will tell you different 1 Quote Link to post
