Gin 498
I have just taken a phone call, saying they were from " Windows" systems, and informing me that my computer has downloaded some sort of virus,- and they will put it right, but it will cost me £130. I have had this call before. They said they were monitering my pc now, but i then said i don't have a pc now or a lap-top, and they just hung up. So just letting you all know, its still happening. Its a Nigerian gang. A big scam, so take care. Never give out your bank details over the phone to anyone.
dare 1,103
Sad thing is its the elderly who will saddly fall for it. You'd think the Nigerians would be happy with a free house and benefits its sure as hell beats living back there. c**ts.

dare 1,103
Wonder how much they actually make from it and if its just one group. Guessing they've rented a call centre and got a few staff just hitting it hard day in day out. Know people who've worked in call centres selling stuff like diamonds and apparently they don't even exist or something. All for people earning a pound note and good luck to em but ripping off old people don't sit right with my morals. The people running the place wasnt Africans either was well spoken white blokes meet one of em once and he was a proper cocky prat. Offered me a job doing it grand a month plus commission, funny how these sales people even have to try and sell you the job "you'll earn loads mate". Told him i think its a liberty mugging old people and he soon shut up.
