Thats rubbish ... extras were getting £70 a day , they used a friends fresian horses in it and also filmed bits in a wood he owns :thumbs:
I know these people all my life..an that what they were getting..suppose £50 for hood crow rubbish aswell

id find better friends as they was bullshitting you :thumbs:

Where was it filmed lads? What county?

 

county down ... and up the mourne mountains ...

the wood is literally 5 minutes from my house

Used to look accross to the mourne mountains from my grandads place, that was county Louth..

plenty of hares were you were

Never over with dogs mate, went over as a kid a fair bit, then carried his coffin when I was early 20's.

Grandad was a salmon man, netting the river mouth, got put in jail for it at 73 ( wouldn't pay the fine for fishing without a license, reckons his dad and grandad didn't so why should he lol).. Real character he was, lived a life that's for sure

Well there in county down ..dont know where they can be seen from but they reckon on a good day you can see snowdonia from them

You can look accross to county down from Louth mate his place was right on the estuary,

lol I worked on the sets in Belfast antrim glenarm an carrick...I know who supplies load animals for it..including the crows an there earning more than the countydown men lol

Grandad was in black rock, used to go out in the bay out of there in his boat, I think you could look accross to the mourne mountains from there, and the Cooley mountains.

yea blackrock nice wee place..just down the road from el.passo.ie.dundalk lol..plenty hares round that neck of the woods :thumbs:
