barrywhite 282 Posted January 3, 2015 Report Share Posted January 3, 2015 (edited) I would think it is not possible ,not with the night vision I have .You have to focus the night vision at a specific distance .So you will only be able to focus on the rear sight or the bead or the target ..I dont know how very good quality and expensive night vision are they may have a large depth or field and the use of open sights maybe possible but I would think not . adding a laser sight to a gun makes the gun very good for shooting rats and close rabbits .So you could clamp a laser under the barrel and wear night vision .I have done this shooting rats it is very good you can walk around in the dark spotting rats .The only problem with this is your point of impact changes at range quite more than open sights ,so you have to understand whats happening at what range .
