In Among The Limestone

Recommended Posts

First trip out of this year saw us head to the wood for abit of shelter from the Gail force wind, first few warrens looked used but lurcher said no! So we just walked round until we got a positive mark, nets on and little silver Jill in, nothing showed for 10mins or so, out with the locator 1foot down nice easy dig 3349F486-3DC2-4395-B67A-4A1D9AFECF0D_zps rabbit number 1 in the bag number 2 bolted, escaped the net and went across the limestone and through the wall, the lurcher never looked liked catching this one, it's impossible to get across the stone with any such speed, D9473CFC-158A-4252-863B-A0313A0E1115_zps soon pack and ready for any more, another shallow dig made it number 2, another mark so nets on ferret in 2 bolted then another dig to my mates sandy Jill, the rabbit was wedged in tight up a stop end against some limestone rocks no more than a crack in the stone, fair play to the Jill she never moved while all the commotion from above was happening, last rabbit of the day was quickly out of a 2 holer, with the wind not showing any signs of stopping we made our way back to the van 557BEA10-3CF3-4442-B6EE-0E3C4869392A_zps for a hot mug of home made soup, B33DEF57-03B3-49F9-8964-48858F1C81BE_zps .
