WILF 46,566
I like Carroll always have done he is a lot better with a ball on the deck than people give him credit for and his work rate is outstanding he was the last line of defence a few times last night......I used to like the old Bobby Moore stand years ago wish I was back in there last night you wasn't too far from me Wilf. Nice little cup run coming i think Did you see Macmannaman mate?......he has kept himself in good order. Looked like he could have put some boots on and played !!! I had to have a smile when the lad ran over to the Everton fans and give it to them......poor sod never got to see the end I suppose but I love stuff like that !! mick81 275
Be good if Defoe comes in till end of season he will put a few goals away if giving the chance ?? But who knows chance to get paired up with his old mate Harry rednapp at the last minute haha
mick81 275
I'll second that max
mick81 275
14 million for Defoe for 3 years ?? Bit steep u not think ? Do u not think we should of pushed the boat out at the begin of season and got borini in and we might not be we're we are at at the min ??
smithie 2,443
I think defo will do you well and would have liked to see him at Liverpool instead of balloteli.
mick81 275
I see , when u put it like that it makes sense , but till his signiture in on paper ( Defoe) it's all talk as u say .
gnasher16 30,025
Did you see Macmannaman mate?......he has kept himself in good order.Looked like he could have put some boots on and played !!! I had to have a smile when the lad ran over to the Everton fans and give it to them......poor sod never got to see the end I suppose but I love stuff like that !! Looked well apart from that silly haircut,David James never gets a good reception, bit unfairly in my opinion but some folk have long memories !...... As for Jermain Defoe you Sunderland lot should be well happy.....apart from finally having someone who can speak English he,s got plenty left in the tank just the sort of goal getter you need for a relegation battle I think he,s a cracking signing.......another old Senrab kid.

samba 534
defoe will score goals where ever he plays great asset
Brigzy 1,298
Seems like a good deal, evidently he has scored on his debut for every team he has played for.
gnasher16 30,025
Apparently his record of scoring against former clubs is pretty good.....lets hope he gets a few against the dirty yids today and the mighty Hammers can go above them tomorrow.
NEWKID 27,047
Defoes a real good signing, don't think he's got the praise he deserves during his career.. Don't know his stats, but he definitely knows where the goal is, natural finisher.. Could be the difference for you boys this year Max.
gnasher16 30,025
Just watching that game on Match of the Day.....wasnt a penalty in a million years Max. And Spurs 3rd goal dissallowed for offside when the geezer was in his own half ...hows that work. Edited January 17, 2015 by gnasher16
bracken boy 584
im with gnasher it was never in a lifetime a pen max, defender done nothing wrong and defoe took the easy route to the floor.
bracken boy 584
as for the offside well it was truely a shocking decision, lineman and ref needs a conference game or two to help pull his socks up.
