bird 9,969
Bicep and Calf=17" Neck=19" Thats from being in the scrum when I played Rugby. Thumb end to Pinkie tip=9".........Thats me hand BTW. So i'm big boned and fat. well the bloke who won it for the 4th time, is fat lol but bloody hell is he strong and agile for a little bloke 6ft 3in 26 st when you look at him to to the big tall blokes , I really think the smaller size like him seem to do better at this kind of sport, than the big tall lads . downsouth 7,396
He did go up to 18st at one point but said the increase in weight didn't increase his strength enough compared to the fitness he lost as he loved his cycling and you'd see him doing as much cardiovascular in the gym as you would strength training. To be fair I've still seen him win open comps against natural 20 odd stones that have been on the TV not bad for a natural 12stoner bulked up to 16st.If you get chance look on YouTube at Paul Woods superyoke. It always made me laugh to see big Tel turn up at the strongman gym we had set up in a farm building near me with a carrier bag full of pies a n pasties smoking a roll up.He should have been a world champ if he was more committed to the training and diet. Oh ok i know the name yes he has an industrial unit down in Kent that they all train out of am i right ?....cant for the life of me remember what its called now i sent a couple of lads down there some time ago as we dont cater for all that but either he or the place had packed up i forget which now.....thats odd about Terry Hollands he seemed quite knowledgable,i dont know him that well but he seemed really dedicated to me so just go,s to show......think his times been and gone to be fair if he was going to win at world level i think he would have done by now. Thats it mate it was called the cell it was an old farm Cold store just down the road from me in faversham.I first met him when I was training at flex appeal in Whitstable.Proper cracking bloke who would help anyone with their training even a skinny c##t like me.Iwas chatting to him a couple of weeks ago he said he'd done a few powerifting comps but was getting back into mountain biking and triathlons.I bet there's not many strongmen who could do that in their mid fortys. Upto a few years ago he worked as security at the Coach in Banbridge. Spoke to a boy who he put out for drugs, complaining like feck that he was assaulted and that he was going to sort it, yeah of course you are mate. Dickhead was 9 stone ringing wet. Apparently the local UDA were out to sort him as he wouldn't play their game, he's still walking around so that says it all.

Met him once in Banbridge, very civil and polite fella.
