The one 8,503
I bought a mixed net making kit off ebay and there a lump of maybe 10z netting marked sixteen Mtrs I'm thinking about making a short stop net out of that the other option would be fox nexus but it's marked 16& 1/2 meshes so I reckon it's going to be to small for that ? sprockerjay 74
Like the colour of your twine were did you get it from nice net aswell Aidy Quote Link to post
norseman 424
not sure about fox nets the one, but 16 mtrs should roughly make a stop net of 8 yards with 100% kill. the twine is from agouti, aqua blue cheers Quote Link to post

Id be more interested in the mesh size before i decided what to do with it personally i'd cut it into purse nets, 10z is too heavy to make an effective stopnet, especially if the mesh is small you'd be better off with a trampoline 1 Quote Link to post
sprockerjay 74
Is it the purse net twine you used if it is will it be OK to use it to make longer nets with cheers aidy Quote Link to post
norseman 424
yeah it was the 500g spool, and that net is 5 yards, but i also made 3 or 4 purse nets before i started that one. so roughly 6 yard net per spool im guessing, (with 100% kill) hope that helps edit to say if i was making anything like that (or longer) in the future, i'd buy sheet netting just for handiness of course.
