The lens is fixed and non adjustable, the led throwers are designed to have spill, that seems to be a draw back on the k50 according to some of the reviews on lamp forums i read about it before i bought it, it doesn't have enough spill for alot of the "torch heads" doing the reviewing. I think its grand tho, the game is in the hot spot and you can see the dog nicely pulling into it through the spill from the hot spot. Doctors differ, patients die..... I like it, and consider it more of a help than a hinderance. Quote Link to post
the big chief 3,099
just ordered mine but don't know weather to order the 10 pack of ultrafire 18650 £10 or go for the panasonic nearly £20 for 4 Quote Link to post
fox digger 1,086
I wouldn't reccommend either of them gaffer! A good genuine psnasonic protected cell is £10 for one. I was strongly advised to stay away from any 18650 cell with any "fire" wrote on it. They are not good by sll accounts. Acebeam will only stand over there quoted run times by using there 3400mAH high drain protected panasonic cells. Upto you but you get what you pay for at the end of the day.... I have had an update from acebeam this morning. The best price i can get is £104 pounds, thats for lamp, 4 genuine acebeam cells, car and mains charger all in alluminium carry case delivered to your door. Thats after alot of haggling and emails. We can get them alot cheaper if we order and pay for 100 kits and get one bulk delivery. But then we'd have postage this side and if im honest when im in london with work i only rent a room and wouldn't have the facilities for 100 pretty decent sized cases!!! Lol I dont think a better price thsn this can be got. I have it organised for batches of 10 at a time, i.e i collect money for 10 lamps, adresses for all 10 people who paid, send money and addresses to acebeam and they will post the 10 lamps to the 10 lads/ladies that ordered them. Any better suggestions or ways of doing it im open to suggestions. But remember ive fek all to get out of this snd i have my one already that i paid alot more for so if its going to be grief or hassle i'll have to let sombody else take on the responsilility. The deal we struck is based on 100 units, for me to wait long enough to get in the money from 100 different people would take possibly months and those who pay first would be very pissed off waiting. That in mind i was able to persuade them to dispatch 10 at a time. So as soon as there are 10 people interested and pay the 104 quid then the money will be sent and lamp will arrive via DHL and a tracking number issued on pick up. 1 Quote Link to post
