navman 126
After reading posts in this thread I decided to purchase one myself, it's arrived now, not had the opportunity to get out with it as I've been working nights this week, but just playing about with it over the field at rear of my house it seems truly awesome ! I particular like the strobe effect next to the full beam setting how effective that will be on a rabbit as it makes for a hedge line to confuse it, something we always do by putting your hand over the beam, now it can be done automatically! No leads to tangle, easy to operate, it's a no brainier ? 2 Quote Link to post

2.8 guy 403
Just got a email back from the supplier on alibaba they are acebeam and sup beam if you do a price enquiry it sends you a link saying check out reviews at acebeam/supbeam if you buy twenty units they work out at £53.48 for the k50 and a single unit price on the more powerful k40 m is around £81 thats dollars to pounds so will have to double check. cheers mate, yes acebeam and microbluebear are the same company. the paypal address for acebeam is microbluebear!! the prices i got back for the k50 are a little bit cheaper than that price you got but with batts and the postage is the real killer. i can get the torch off them for 60 pounds but no good to anyone in china!!! lol, cheers for that mate, its the one crowd we are dealing with!! the k40m is not a spot light (thrower as they call them) is a flood pattern mate, way brighter but no use for our job. atb, FD No worries mate theres not alot in it either way but it was worth looking into that site has some cheap deals atb 2.8 Quote Link to post
stabba 10,745
Anyone who buys one (off their own back) please make sure you purchase decent batteries. Because if you dont it will affect the torch immensley. Quote Link to post

TOMO 26,291
To the lads that have them,,, I always attach string to my lamp so it hangs free ,,so my hands are free for climbing fences ect........ Is there anyway to atach some string/cord to the torch?? Quote Link to post
torchey 1,328
A lamp on its own i would have thought is going to be a fair bit lighter than one of these to hang round your neck, reckon you would be better off with something like you,d drop a hammer in on a tool pouch 3 Quote Link to post
