Just got back in. No import tax to start with Beam too tight? No way. if its in the field then a quick sweep will light it up. As good as a striker? Yes....and that's on the next to most powerful

Shiny......

Good stuff stabba, i was hoping it would be what you were expecting! Pound for pound far far better value than the lightforce and battery pack, not to mention the convienience of it being so small and

what distance would you say the beam on these is useable to ? cheers

I dont know mate tbh, but acebeam claim 800 meters.... I lamp rabbits and fox mainly, so not too many make it beyond 800 meters and if they do they deserve to get away!!! Anyway there are fek all fields around by me that are nearly a kilometer long or wide!!!! I can say that it lights up stuff as good if not better than my lightforce at close to the lightforces limits..... Hope that helps!

cheers. i do like the white light of the cree lamps. i have one of the cluson ones but this time of the season its pushing it and i've gone back to the lazerlite.

Been having a little read up on these notice on another forum they done a group buy and got a very good deal I wonder if anything could be sorted for the members on here?

Tell you what, ive spoken to the sales rep alot before i bought my two and she emailed after that to see how i am getting on with them. Let stabba get and try his one and give his opinion on them. After that if there is still a bit of interest in them i will try get a deal on say 25 or 30 of them together and see what prices i get back if ye are interested,
Think you would need to put a decent order in of maybe 100 or more and make it worth their while to get a decent discount. Not sure how it would work either to be honest but here's a link to a group buy on another forum

Only thing i don't like about LED is the colour..its too blue/white on most set ups I've seen and have got myself.

I did a thread on LED torches years ago....aspherical lenses are the main ingredients for the fun.

Problem isn't the beam or distance etc etc, Its the reflection you get back at the end of the beam.. Rabbits eyes are not RED anymore...SO dependent on what your out spotting on your nocturnal mooches you could be releasing the hounds of hell over the gate off into the obis of darkness to chase something it shouldn't be chasing.

Finally.. how waterproof is this new set up ? can you drop it on the hard wet ground ? Can it take the serious amount of abuse the lightforce has done for many years..I doubt you could throw it about like I do my old lamp..

We all go on about Lightweight batteries weighing next to nothing... But if your out on decent night with game on the ground,You end up carrying a lot more weight than a bloody 12V motorbike SLA battery after a couple of catches... Does it bother you ? Does it Fekk. !

Im not trying to piss on anyones chips but ive used the k40 and have the ledray tactical 1000 on my .222 I thought the led beam was just not good enough and as the season went on I went back to the lightforce and 22amp lithium battery ...I prefer the beam especially on quarry further out and if theres any moisturre in the air you get a lot of refection from the led light ....they are a handy little torch to have on you but I wouldnt use as my one and only lamp ....but thats just me
