Crisp Morning!

Recommended Posts

Had a good morning out on a golf course perm this morning with a mate. Snow didn't help us stalking the rabbits they must've heard us coming from 200 yds away.

Still a nice bag of 4 magpies, 1 rabbit and a Jay. Fn19 shoot faultlessly apart from trigger coming loose. Looking forward to going back when the snow has melted.

Me and vislauk were shooting one night a few years ago it was a nice night darkness was just coming in and i was in the middle of a field the grass was green and so was the tree,s as i walked across i saw a big black cloud above me i looked back down and started to walk back up the field and with in seconds every thing was white all the green had gone i shelter,d under one of the trees and just sat and looked at all the snow falling there was some thing magical and peace full about it .

It was falling that thick you could not see two foot in front of you and as i sat there out of the thickness a young deer came into view heading for the woods it was that close i could of touched it it just stopped dead in its tracks and looked strait at me .

you no even if i had a shell gun i would not have shot it ,i just waved my hand as if to to say go on bud and with that it jumped the fence and stopped for another look at me and it was gone i dont think ill ever for get that night like i say,d there was some thing magical about it .

needles to say the snow was that bad it stopped play and we headed home .
