Shane Malone 0
Hello, I have been interested in Bull & Terrier dogs from a young age. Reading about Lurchers and Terriers on this forum has been a real eye opener for me. I have no true first hand experience hunting with dogs but hopefully I can network and branch out. Wheaten Terriers are my favourite type of dog. I grew up with 2 on separate occasions. The first was a ridiculously driven dog who died far too young. Our second can go on any adventure but he does not venture off to far or put up much of a fight as he barks. I would love to travel to the Ireland and other regions of the UK for a first hand experience so I can better understand how to maintain healthy working dogs for future generations. I feel this has been lost in the show ring, especially for Wheaten Terriers in North America. Although I believe working dogs can be bred back from show lines (ebt for example), I would like to come in contact with legitimate wheaten terrier type of dog owners. Cheers, Shane
