Lamping Last Night

Been waiting on the students finishing up for Christmas so i could go lamping on the grounds and ive been tallying up the rabbits and imagining i could hit the ton so last night was the big night . I logged in got my police number and the rabbits seemed a bit thin on the ground but it was frosty and theres not a lot show before one am so we started and the tempt plummeted i packed up at two am with eight rabbits and it was minus 3.5 driving home it got to minus 5 and it was only when i gotr home i got the feeling back in my left hand that i was lamping out the window with even with gortex gloves on , Christ knows if im keen or stupid but Tuesday night looks good according to the weather forecast

same for us on Sunday went out at 9pm and back at 145am grass was like walking on glass and could not hold on to the rifle my hands were that cold out of the three of us only Vislauk got one a nice 60 yard shot using one of them SMK 100 copy's lol :D

 

nice shooting at least you got 8 still worth going out for, the things we put up with just for our sport :)
