Collie X Greyhound Pup

Recommended Posts

All, having just come off the phone from a breeder who has some 1st crosses which are aged at about 16 weeks or so......if something caught your eye would you not worry about them being 16 weeks or would you wait for an 8 week pup to come along..??..

Thanks

the only way to find out is go and see the pups in the flesh, as long as there healthily+ confident , that's the main thing  ive never liked nervy pups in any kind of dogs from a lap dog to a pit , as it just makes the job that bit harder brining them on. some people don't have pups till 6-9 months old coursing dogs ,gundogs etc. they want to have real idea what they getting. but for me I like pup about 9 weeks old if I can .

Thanks all, yes i will have a look later in the week, my concerns is merely on my own training techniques in that i like a close bond as a young puppy....

A whippet cross may not be out the question if i can find any and decpher if they are actuall y that cross, my luck it would turn out as big as a donkey....

Yes
You sure?

What are you getting at?

Why would the man lie?

He advertise's dogs as being 1/2 bred when the sire as greyhound in him ... His 'naughty boys' stud dogs have more than half collie in them but there pups are still advertised as 3/4 grey 1/4 collie ...

A bit of bull in some of them too Chid....so I was told... ;)
