Richp 10 Posted December 28, 2014 Author Report Share Posted December 28, 2014 All, having just come off the phone from a breeder who has some 1st crosses which are aged at about 16 weeks or so......if something caught your eye would you not worry about them being 16 weeks or would you wait for an 8 week pup to come along..??.. Thanks Richard the only way to find out is go and see the pups in the flesh, as long as there healthily+ confident , that's the main thing ive never liked nervy pups in any kind of dogs from a lap dog to a pit , as it just makes the job that bit harder brining them on. some people don't have pups till 6-9 months old coursing dogs ,gundogs etc. they want to have real idea what they getting. but for me I like pup about 9 weeks old if I can . He advertise's dogs as being 1/2 bred when the sire as greyhound in him ... His 'naughty boys' stud dogs have more than half collie in them but there pups are still advertised as 3/4 grey 1/4 collie ... A bit of bull in some of them too Chid....so I was told...
