We needed some panacur for my daughters iguana and P@H seemed a likely option as it was a bank holiday.

Spoke to the in store vet and had an in depth conversation as to what it was for but was blatantly refused the sale by the 13 year old at the till.

They could not offer any advice on a probiotic option for after worming treatment either.

Needless to say, I've never been back.

Frontline and panacure are readily available on line at Vetmedics. No questions asked and cheaper than a vet or the shop. I usually buy a years supply.

if you want a laugh, go to your local pets at home, and ask to speak to the Nutritionist.

Just looked at that vermedics, it's crap. They won't sell frontline combo without a script! Anyone know one that does??   Pm if prefer

i'll give it a go today.

He's due his wormers this week but since yesterday he's had the shits for whatever reason. Now I've never given wormer when a dog has the shits let alone a pup gonna see the vet in a couple if hours but wondered about others experiences.

To a certain extent thats right.

Iv'e had big arguements with her about feeding dogs. But when she has got someone to buy Wainwrights kibble instead of Bakers that has to be a result.

They sell RAW too, unfortunatly, not many dog owners that use the store want the "hassle" of it.

Not to a "certain extent" ; to an absolute extent ! How can getting a customer to pay way over the odds be a "result" ? The vast majority of vets will overcharge as a matter of course , and if pet shops are employing professionals to con people into buying overpriced food by lying to them, they should be charged with the trades description act, and even the individual should be sanctioned by their professional body ! We get ripped off enough without pet shops and vets conspiring to fleece us !

Surley getting a dog owner that thinks Bakers is the best food to give their dog to at least try a better quality kibble, is a result for the dog ?? There are lots of other things that P@H do that may change peoples minds about them , but whats the point of debating it on here, no one is going alter their opinion.

Oh, and just one other thing......................My Daughter doesn't tell lies. She may be other things, but she's not a lier.

ATB.

I would think a good quality kibble,,,( if there is one) is better than there raw,,,,,that stuff they have is just mush when it's thawed,,,,it's about pound for a pound in weight,,,yet thawed,,is just watery

Their range of raw is too expensive, i can get better cuts at half the price,
