Frontline and panacure are readily available on line at Vetmedics. No questions asked and cheaper than a vet or the shop. I usually buy a years supply.

if you want a laugh, go to your local pets at home, and ask to speak to the Nutritionist.

Just looked at that vermedics, it's crap. They won't sell frontline combo without a script! Anyone know one that does??   Pm if prefer

Have they just started this? I've been buying frontline and drontal from them for years, as recently as three months ago.

I've just been on Vet-Medic, and you CAN buy Frontline and Drontal without a 'script. You can also buy them a larger branches of boots without a 'script, but they are cheaper on line.

Its the combo that mushroom was on about thats script only.. the frontline spot on & wormers are & have been no script for years .. probably cheaper to get the combo in the longrun but not at the vets prices

Ahh, OK, I allways buy them separately , and find Vet-Medics the cheapest to buy a years supply. My mistake.

No need. If I give her a shout you can talk to her now, she's only upstairs.

My daughter is a Nutritionist for P@H and while I don't always agree with all that she's been TAUGHT. She does have some knowledge of diet. The Nutritionist at P@H are told what to say, and what to try and sell.

Most dog owners that use the store want convience, and not always what is best for their dog.

.........As an aside. Pets at Home donate lots of money and all damaged goods to a local rescue centre, and they are a good company to work for.

Like some vets, they have sold their professional integrity to the big corporations. They will tell the gullible that their dog is intolerant to certain things, and needs to be fed on certain, extremely overpriced complete dog food. They should REALY be giving good advice, based on fact and their training....but, of course, money comes first these days.

To a certain extent thats right.

Iv'e had big arguements with her about feeding dogs. But when she has got someone to buy Wainwrights kibble instead of Bakers that has to be a result.

They sell RAW too, unfortunatly, not many dog owners that use the store want the "hassle" of it.

Not to a "certain extent" ; to an absolute extent ! How can getting a customer to pay way over the odds be a "result" ? The vast majority of vets will overcharge as a matter of course , and if pet shops are employing professionals to con people into buying overpriced food by lying to them, they should be charged with the trades description act, and even the individual should be sanctioned by their professional body ! We get ripped off enough without pet shops and vets conspiring to fleece us !
