marshman 7,757
How was your Dads black bitch bred Marshman ? Toby the Hoover was a talking dog mate No Internet back in the day to spread the word also How good was Toby ? my father bitch was mainly saluki x greyhound with a bit of deerhound x greyhound .My father said that the Hoover had it all , the first time he see him run he caught five on the Marsh. My father arranged for he's mate Bill Bruce to run him , as bill had a real class brindle bitch,to run Charlie with the Hoover the following weekend . They got on the field and and started chatting dogs turns out that Billls brindle bitch was full belly sister to to Toby. Charlie won the day with five and bills bitch run three and missed the fourth, that first Pic was taken on that very day after the first few runs. 3 Quote Link to post

Bosun11 537
Great pic's Marshy, a mate of mine seen Toby run too, along with Swoop. As has been said, those dogs made names for themselves in a world almost void of Lurcher publicity, just goes to prove, 'when they really are that good....' Quote Link to post
