bird 10,013 Posted December 26, 2014 Report Share Posted December 26, 2014 been after this big bugger for couple weeks, the wife said he out side under the bird feeder, as she was in the kitchen doing a cuppa .So went in went to the back door , and he pissed off as like normal, its been like this with it all the while, very hard to get a shot at it . well had me cuppa and left the door a jar, and slowly moved the door with me left foot , just about 1/2in at a time. I already had me gun mounted to my shoulder, them old ratty started to come through the bottom of the fence, let him come right out . took deep breath then breath slowy then aimed bang one dead big rat . well not bad boxing day so far 5 Quote Link to post

bird 10,013 Posted December 26, 2014 Author Report Share Posted December 26, 2014 Great when a plan comes together deff mate, prob be few more of the buggers coming round to visit , as ive just moved to newplace and next door, keep horses, fowl, so there prob coming from there . but iam having some chickens myself next year, so will keep my gun by the door and leave my my older dog out side for few hours every night , heloves tree rats he deff be up for these fookin things lol 1 Quote Link to post

Especially if your thinking of getting chickens yourself! If not, you'll probably end up being put on rifle duty on a daily basis by herself! :-) Quote Link to post
