TOMO 26,764
right , i hope somone with more experiance in such matters can help. now i know how to use the old method with hazel , and i know the pre set basket method with fiberglass and grommets. but i notice on some pics on this longnetting section people using hazel with preset basket systems. so i have few questions , as im about to set a couple of netts the same. 1. how do you attach them. 2. do you use rubber bands , aka glenn waters style. 3. could you use grommets , of course provided all the hazel is simmilar thikness 4.or do you use a clove hitch. 5. if you do use a clove hitch, do you make a little notch for the lines and knot to sit in. 6. if you did the same at the bottom, it would stop you from altering the depth of the peg whats the best way . MANY THANKS TOMO. Quote Link to post
mole catcher 1
Hello tomo, you have answered your own questions, clove hitch and rubber bands both top and bottom and if you leave the foot line slack you can push the peg in as deep as you wish.
