MIK 4,763 Posted December 23, 2014 Report Share Posted December 23, 2014 I have never heard of the super light I had a b&w power light 14' a few years ago and it was over 700 quid but I couldnt get on with it very long in the handle and was a very tireing rod you certainly knew you had been casting it at the ennd of the day ....the thing with the 16' rods is most 14 foot rods will do now adays even on the bigger waters with the new skandi and shagit shooting heads ....my wife just bought me a a 15" g loomis roaring river GLX for my xmas I cant wait to give it a cast next season Quote Link to post

Bergman 4 Posted January 2, 2015 Report Share Posted January 2, 2015 Think the Bruce and walker power lite came in make1 and then mark2. I had a 15foot mark 1 .good quality rods.bomb proof.think the mark 2 was a bit lighter in weight. Not a lot of money in second hand rods.its the reels that make the money If that's any help.
