Fenn Set On Concrete

Recommended Posts

:hmm: With regard to Fenn Traps,...they will catch in all types of situations,..but,.to minimise foul catches and misses,..I have found that the Fenn (being a jump trap)..are best used, by placing them in a tunnel or well fitting, natural cubby,..this forces the target, twixt the roof and killing jaws....

Just an opinion,.....you can set traps how you wish...... its a free country...

Since Ive started including these in "natural" tunnels I've never had a half caught rat. Still get those that re-set the safety catch though

Victors are good, so are fenns placed in tunnels. I've watched videos a good few years ago from pegandgun and he was trapping rats in concrete grain stores with fenns, all he was doing was placing them in the grain at the sides and anywhere that suited, covered them slightly, no tunnels, and he was nailing them, make of it what you will.
