went out today by myself to the same area me and bunny tickler shot early on this week arrived before daylight and watched the field were all the pigeons were but today not a pigeon .so moved about a mile down the road this field has been hammered

and the pigeons were there carried the gear about 70 yards and put all the decoys out the birds which left were slowly coming back but were very skittish ended the day with 29 which wasnt bad missed some very easy birds but made up with a couple of doubles at one point i was messing with the phone and the dog was looking at me then the decoys then i noticed 3 birds takeing off from the pattern packed in about 1,30 and went to see the farmer ( bottle whisky ) were i aquired some more shooting this year this is a right spot at harvest time shot it twice early this year nearly 200 birds in 2 days roll on summer

its hard this time of year so much rape for them they just follow the flock but i will be out again
