Katsdad 31
Posted this in the hawking section but thought might be good on here too as some of you guys with ferrets also use hawks. Posted Today, 11:36 AM Has anyone near faversham in Kent Lost a hawk?not sure on breed as not my thing but it's defo well handled as taking the dogs for a walk this morning it saw us and swooped down but wheeled back when it got close almost as if it recognised I wasn't its owner but it followed us home and has been sat in the tree out side the house since.if I try to get near enough to take a photo it just ups and leaves but returns after a while. It must be used to hunting with dogs because it tracked my 2 when they were looking for rabbits in the hedgerows. So it must be owned by someone who has put a lot of time and effort into getting it trained. Spread the word and hopefully we can find its owner. I know what it's like to loose a hunting buddy when my ferrets got out, alot of effort goes into them and trust from both sides. Hope I can help Cheers Tim Back to top Quote MultiQuote Edit Report Quote Link to post

Ferret kent 12g 17
Il ring the land owner and see if it been reported missing. I know of a few people that use birds of pray on there. I'm hoping to go ferreting there in the week. Edited December 20, 2014 by Ferret kent 12g Quote Link to post
