dare 1,103
Pub near me is the dogs bollocks and only walking distance. Everyone in there knows everyone so never any trouble and just good banter all night. All sorts aswell from builders to lawyers but everyone gets on. Pubs in my old area are just depressing lol postmen walking past talking loud on purpose about kilos, blokes in their 40s who look like they've had the life sucked out of em, people drinking near the door incase so and so comes in cause they owe him money. Then the night ends and you'll have a couple argued and shouting waking up the rest of the road lol. Shithole

DIDO.1 22,851
I stopped when ale got to a pound a pint, which was years ago now. I said I would and I did, which upset my mates. I'll have a few pints now and then with my lad or at a hunting do, but I'm quite happy staying in, plus I can't afford to be ill with supping too much ale, I'm normally hunting weekend! Just heard that the local near to our kid is charging a tenner to get in on new years eve! And what's happened to Whitbread Chesters mild, can you still get it anywhere? That was a lovely drink in my day. Bloody hell pal...get with the times....I go the pub on my hover board now and drink this new fangled larger stuff pound a pint

Country Joe 1,411
Our local is good, but cant agree with his new poster, beat the new breathalyzer limit, A bottle of Shloer £4.45 a bottle £1.25 a glass, just saw it in Morrisons today £1.12 a bottle, why do soft drinks in pubs have to be so expensive? Supermarkets don't pay VAT on drinks and also buy in massive quantities so get a cheaper price. How successful would the pub be with 2 or more people sharing a bottle of something for just over a quid? Cheers, D.
