Aright boys what do you think of Barnet red tube elastic for cattys I shot pheasant yesterday but I like to know what you think of it cheers

I'm pretty sure the red elastic is the same as the Barnett yellowish one,

There alright but change the pouch that's the only problem with them.

Yes mate I change mine pouch but I hit hen bird last night drop it clean enough

if you have dropped a pheasant they must be ok for you

good shooting

but imho barnett tubes don,t produce as much power for the effort they require compared to other tubes.

as far as tubes go dankung are cheaper , easier to draw and produce more power.

other tubes that have a good following are the roylan or : dub dub:

best performance for least effort has to go to flat bands ie theraband etc but they generally don,t last as long.

flatbands and other tubes can be fitted to barnett slingshots.

a lot of slingshot band manufacturers advertise their bands as magnum or extra powerfull because of the extra effort required to pull them back , but that does not mean they transfer this extra energy to the ammo.

it is the speed that the elastic returns to its origonal size that matters,

have look at gamekeeper catty videos on you tube and he measures the draw effort and power of bands and tubes.

if your current set up is working then stick with it but do try a bit of experimenting as well
