Tiercel 6,986
I have been having this discussion with a lad I walk with every day he's a shooting lad he's on his 3 rd pointer in life his father taught him everything about pointers the debate has been much the same anyone who is full time on deer as a job has a Pointer I no two very good dogs but getting hold of the there owners is the hard part lads that are full time don't have the time to mess about with the x I've always fancied one but can it be better than it already is I vey much doubt it been a interesting topic though atb edrd Interesting that you said that, I have been thinking along the same lines. To my mind the only thing the breed lacks is a little bit of speed, to that end I think maybe a reverse three-quarter bred dog would just have the edge on speed over a full bred dog, without loosing all the attributes that make the breed what it is. They are never going to win any races that for sure, but for a general mooching and lamp dog could be an asset? TC 1 Quote Link to post
