LurcherLad94 2,582 Posted December 17, 2014 Report Share Posted December 17, 2014 yes gaz your right he paid the 300 because he wanted to,i personally think 300 is expensive giving the amount of pups that come from him,i mean do you see loads of people on here running his dogs? its not like there 1 of pups from top working lines then you could justify the price,and i not saying it is a big investment and as for them being good dogs in the right hands most dogs bred for this line of work should make good working dogs in the RIGHT HANDS regardless of the price? Think your right about price to be honest,But at least hes honest its a business ,Guess there worth what ever folks are going to pay. Interesting the"" you know what your getting"" comment always comes up,You could say that about all lurchers really, Some of the better ones ive had you could be listing 10 crosses,what differance? As I don't live with my dogs they are up my uncles I went up before work this morning got her out around the yard met the ferrets and the terriers not a backwards step she brung a old rope over so threw it bang retrieve to hand 4 in a row left it at that !! I remember reading the Hancock threads about 10years ago and most people said the conditions the pups were raised in was disgraceful!!! Facts are,.most pups that are bold, visibly confident and full of life...and with half or three quarter, Greyhound blood,. flowing through their veins, are always going to be physically capable of catching somefeckingthing !
