Well after searching for a collie x pup for a while I bit the bullet and went to hancock I know some people don't like the place but had a nice welcome and its a very good set up can't fault them thei

Alex ain't much to look at but he throws some nice capable animals....  

I don't think a saluki cross will do the same job sorry mate !! I wanted a collie x for where I hunt it's bloody hard going and very rarely I'm in a flat field or even a field for that case !! I wante

okay that's a fair point johnny but i think 300 is abit excessive when you can get the same thing for half the price of a privet seller but each to there own..

where? Genuine collie xs dont seem to come up very often ..

ok lads fair point i don't no how many xs of this type come up because i don't really look into this xs but im sure u can pick them up for less than £300 pound,just starting a conversation but why choose a collie x from hancock for £300 when you could buy a saluki x ect that will do the same job or better for less money is it down to you just likeing the look of the dog?or that you no the exact breading like johnny said?

im not having a dig at any one btw

I wanted a collie x for personal reasons Iv seen a few and like the way they work on the sort of land I hunt couldn't find one for love no money and with my old bitch not having long left I need to bring in a youngester and as money Isnt a issue I paid my money

okay wales that's a fair point its a great looking pup and wasent doubting it will be a good worker

No worries mate didn't mean to come across harsh haha in a strong believer in its what you put Infront of a dog it what makes it any good or not she's got two cracking mentors in my older bitches just see how it goes

Not sure why there should be a debate.

 

The lad has got what he wanted. £300 is f**k all for an investment in something which will continue to repay you for 10-12 year plus.

 

Wether the parents work or not it is FACT that when in the right hands they DO make good working dogs.

 

I'm yet to meet or speak to a GOOD dog man who's has a Hancock pup and it never made the grade. Maybe they keep quiet? But I can't see why they would.
