Never understood why the Scots want the warheads out of Scotland

Its not like Scotland would the ok if the warheads were in England and we were nuked

We realize this, it would be Scotland sending out a message that we do not believe in Nuclear weapons.

There is also a lot of oil in the Clyde estuary, that cannot be touched because of the Trident subs being based there.

and yes oil is at a low, but this may not always be the case.

So this SNP message of nuclear disarmament..... kinda hypocritical still wanting to be covered by the NUCLEAR ALLIANCE that is NATO! LOL

These peace loving anti nuke dreamers would shit their pants if they got what they wanted. God forbid the day NATO gives up it's arsenal!

Not every country in NATO has nuclear weapons LOL

Not everyone holds the same views, see what happens if a major political party puts in their manifesto to remove Trident subs to the Thames.

So what? Are you not grasping the core concept of NATO? It's primarily a nuclear alliance! Since the end of the Cold War it's become more of a military alliance but it was founded and remains a nuclear alliance to counter any other aggressive nuclear states.

If Britain , France, and the U.S. WERNT nuclear powers and part of NATO, what do you think Russia would be doing now, apart from ruling the whole of Europe, including Scotland ? It's a good job some of the countries in NATO have the balls to have a deterent. If Trident was removed to the Thames, Tyne or Humber, the only difference it would make to Scotland would be the loss of jobs and income ! Please relocate Trident to the Tyne, we have the workforce and skills, and could do with the jobs and money !
