downsouth 7,151
I use some stuff called mane and tail it comes in a pump spray bottle.Just spray it on my cocker ears and anywhere else that debris normally gets tangled a couple of times a week and nothing sticks even burdock. The Grumpy Dad 2
If you get a brush or a comb that states `stripping` or a `de-shedding` brush / rake you may find this better for getting the bigger bits of debri out. Then a regular brush for prining . Same again though , i`ve had these from value stores(poundland-home&bargain etc) and they get left out and go rusty before i knacker them. atb 1 Quote Link to post
wuyang 513
Pop into your local grooming shop for advise. Used to use a dematter for sawing through thick mats and slicker brushes for getting little bits out and a comb that was fine one end and bit wider teeth the other....other than that a stripping knife as a comb. Some people rave about the furminators, only used a double blade one which I thought was naff, but should imagine the single blades ones are better. Hope that helps. 1 Quote Link to post
