delswal 3,819 Posted December 16, 2014 Report Share Posted December 16, 2014 Brigzy one thing I learnt at a very very early stage in my career was that those prone to terrorist acts or high stakes criminal activity especially in the middle east will not be taken alive and will consider their hostages as expendable collateral I don't believe in negotiation for the sake of political face savings to me the human rights Act is something I must have forgot to pack in my kit, No one can justify to me in a hostage situation with innocents as hostage that any possible info gained is worth the lives of the hostages, Combatants fair game if you can take them alive but most that are professional and have undergone the conditioning will spill feck all of value as is being realised now with the lack of info from Guantanamo Terrorists / hostage takers, take hostages in these situations for one reason only, maximum media coverage. Long drawn out negotiations play right into their hands. Media coverage should be blanketed out full stop. First thing these terrorists / hostage takers should get should be a flash bang, secondly a double tap to the chest thirdly one more tap to the head, example set NO negotiating, the more they get from negotiations the more hostages will be taken in the future. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
