22 Amp Deban Battery

My 22 amp deban battery only last about 8 hours lamping with a 100 watt bulb should it be doing longer. ?

Yes. Mine lasts night after night. Can't remember last time I charged it.

 

Then again, is that 8 hours continuous use? I've never noted how many actual hours it's on for.

The specification says 2 hours 10 mins with 100w bulb. 3 hours 15 mins with 75w bulb.

I generally do two decent nights lamping before a charge but if I'm not out for couple nights then I charge it up and store it charged

is it the lithium or the older dry cell type ?

It has to do with the bulb watts 100w eats the power deben tracer is only 10w cree light the is what they recommend for the longer use and that is plenty light enough

Its a lithium and we start lamping at 11 and it runs out about 5 in morning

I done 6 hours with myn other night and bout 3 hours few nights before with out charging and it still had 2 red lights showing

I can't remember exactly when I last charged mine but I have done at LEAST 14 hours lamping over 3-4 outings and still have 1 green bar.

 

I will get at least 2 more nights before I charge it.

I done 3 4hour sessions last week from a full charge and it died on me way home. I have it on too much so if I was more conservative could probably have got double that
